Prof (Dr.) Haridatta Sarma Literary Arts Foundation

Our Mission and Vision: Our foundation "Prof (Dr.) Haridatta Sarma Literary Arts Foundation" is to work on solutions to help underprivileged students of the society to advance their educational dream.  Our purpose is to contribute to a community where students of ultra low income group can pursue the equal access to education.  The foundation intends to project itself as an effective mentoring organization in an effort to contribute to the development of future leaders and contributors in our immediate community and the society at large.

The foundation has announced 13 scholarships for the academic year of 2021 - 2022.

• Post graduate level (Assamese and English literature study -one each )  -  2
• College level  -  5
• School level   -  6

Please note, all scholarships are rewarded to students of economically underprivileged families only.

YEAR 2020:  Literary scholarships for the year 2020 distributed

The scholarships were distributed in number of places at Nalbari, Rangia and greater Kamrup district.

Recipient students were from the following colleges and schools -

• Rangia College (3 students)
• Nandagaon Primary school (2 students)
• Adattari Primary school ( 1 student)
• Pilingkata high-school, greater Guwahati (1 student)

THANKS: We are extremely thankful to  Dr. Hitesh Barman (Prof of Chemistry, Rangia college), Dr. B. Saikia (Principal, Rangia College), Smt Dipanjali Dutta ( Pilingkata High-school, Guwahati), Sh. Bhaven Sarma & Smt. Bimala Devi (of Mukalmua), Dr. Niva Sarma (Symbiosis, Pune) and Miss Mitali Sarma (of Nandagaon, Nalbari)  for their much precious encouragement and active participation in the program.
